The vision that drives the administration, faculty and staff of Crane Tech Prep Common School is the creation of a comprehensive educational program, supported by the latest technology, designed to provide an education system where student achievement, high expectations, and respect for others serve as the focus of daily instruction. Our vision is the creation of an educational program that eliminates the digital divide by building a technology enriched learning environment. In addition, our goal is the creation of a school climate that will foster the students' development of high self-esteem, self-discipline, and a positive attitude towards academic excellence. As a result of the comprehensive educational experiences and involvement in intellectually stimulating programs, the students will endeavor to be lifelong learners and successful adults who make a positive impact on their community and society.

The mission of the administration, faculty and staff of Crane Tech Prep is the implementation of a quality effective academic program utilizing diverse methods of instructional delivery, technology and research-based best educational practices which will develop the students’ critical thinking skills and academic achievement. Our mission includes the development of a technology enriched learning environment where student achievement will be elevated and enhanced in preparation for post secondary education and the world of work. This will also encompass the creation of a technology culture by providing staff development to develop a professional community knowledgeable in the use and integration of technology in every aspect (lesson planning, delivery, and evaluation) of the instructional program.
